Sole F80 Review
The Sole F80 treadmill is a step below the Sole F85 coming it at only $1499 instead of $1999. This is a great price for a more budget-friendly higher tier treadmill that gives you a reliable and comfortable experience–even if it lacks some of the bells and whistles of more expensive models you can find out there from Sole like the F85, S77, and TT8.
In the features section of the Sole F80 review, we will go over what the F80 has and lacks for the price of $1499.
The Sole F80 comes packed full of useful features including Bluetooth capabilities, speakers, fans to cool you off, and the included specs below.
The Sole F80 gives you access to a 9.0 TFT LCD which gives you information on heart rate, pace, speed, and calorie rate. Alongside the display are actual buttons so you can quickly control your workout without worrying about mis-pressing a button. You can also integrate your Bluetooth devices within the workout data transfer compatible with apps like Fitbit.
The Sole F80 has a “Cushion Flex Whisper Deck” which reduces impact up to 40% compared to asphalt running. The track is 22” x 60” which is very spacious and gives you plenty of room to walk and run comfortably.
The deck is also covered by a lifetime warranty.
The motor is a strong 3.5 CHP motor giving speeds up to 12 mph and inclines up to 15 levels.
When not in use, the foldable treadmill locks in place securely. The F80 uses a gear rack and pinion system along with an easy assist folding deck design dubbed “Easy Assist Folding Deck Design” which allows you to release the deck and it will unfold itself.
Coupled alongside the deck and motor is a 2-ply belt. Sole explains that the two rubber layers are held over a PVC layer with nylon backing that rolls over the deck and rollers where the rubber provides durability and the PVC stops over stretching.
The Sole F80 comes with a lifetime frame, motor, deck and five-year parts and electronics warranty as well as two-year warranty for in-home labor repairs–as well as a 30-day trial period.
Sole F80 Review Conclusion
The Sole F80 is a well-priced treadmill with one of the best deck experiences around as well as a good 9.0 LCD panel with plenty of features like Bluetooth integration, heart rate monitoring, and calorie counting.
It’s also super easy to fold and unfold since the treadmill controls a significant portion of the process automatically through its automated unfold system. It’s a great treadmill for those who don’t need the biggest screen or the most powerful motor. It’ll work fine for walking or running.
If you want a more powerful motor, and a bigger screen viewing panel, consider checking out the Sole F85 in our review. The Sole F85 also has a bigger weight limit of 400 versus the Sole F80’s 375. The F85 also has a slightly wider walking experience and a longer warranty on electronic parts (5 compared to 3).
