How to Setup Amazon Echo to Find your Phone

Step 1

The first thing you’ll need to do is sign up with IFTTT. IFTTT is an amazing website that lets you set up automations. Once you make your account, go here.

Step 2

IFTTT will ask you to connect IFTTT to your Amazon account. Unlock your phone, then enter in your phone number and IFTTT will call you with the password you need to enter into the system. Once you do this, the recipe just needs to be added.

Step 3

Once your recipe is installed properly, simply ask your Amazon Echo “Alexa, trigger find my phone”. Once you give this voice query, Alexa will ring your phone with a phone call that helps you find your phone.
